Anyone else here with experience from cooking at a mountain cabin?

a small gas or electric grill. small canisters of fuel aren't too hard to cart up if gas.

grill veggies, potatoe, fruit or meats/fish----we use our gas grill all year long, even now. a grill basket comes in handy when grilling smaller veggies or things like shrimp or fish that may fall apart. the basket closes around the food and keeps it from falling through the grill grates.

Ang, I never thought of a grill, but that's a wonderful idea. As a matter of fact, I do have a small

electric grill at my summer house that I never use because we always use the large gas BBQ outside. Thanks for the idea, I'm going to move it to the cabin because it will be perfect up there smileys/smile.gif

I'm not sure I'd know what to do with one...

I'm trying to stay away from carbs and these just seem like something that would always want to include some sort of pasta/rice.

There is one recipe I have for garlic chicken I'd like it for, but otherwise, seems like it would take up a lot of cabinet space. Pulled pork/etc I can use the oven for. Also, I'm stumped when I look at buying one - they seem *huge*.
