Anyone have an interesting food site to share. Here's one I like:

I love the NapaStyle site; here's a link to the great meatball recipe! (more)

I baked these, once, and then froze them in small containers with pasta sauce; for a weeknight meal, opened container, put block o' meatballs and sauce in saucepan on medium heat, covered... Dinner in 30 minutes! smileys/smile.gif

Half ground beef, half ground pork is tastier than just ground beef...I think.

Now the you mention one of my favorite catalogs, Penzeys's also have great recipes---

every one I have tried has been very good and in the case of ethnic foods authenic. I just did Chicken Briyiana from there and my world traveler clients on the ship loved it.
And while I'm pushing Penzey's just tried the Singapore Seasoning on Cornish hens and the Northwood Seasoning on lots of things, Yummers!
Also, in case I haven't mentioned it, I use the Breakfast Sausage Seasoning with hamburger meat to make gravy for breakfast biscuits and gravy, big hit.

You're welcome, Deb. I've made the Devil's Food Cake with Fluffy White Frosting (I omit the

white frosting and use chocolate ganache), Chocolate Swirl Sour Cream Coffee Cake, and Chocolate Cranberry Bread. They're all fantastic.

Curious1, you've got good eyesight! I never noticed this error before. When I make them, ...

I add the water as described in the directions...1 C in the meatball mixxture, and another 1/2 C in the pan, and they turn out perfect. I'm going to contact NapaStyle about this error, and I'll let you know their reply.

Try FoodTV.ca for FoodTV Canada with lots of shows and hosts that you don't see on FoodTV in the US

Some of my favorite Canada-only shows are:

Sugar with Anna Olson

Christine Cushing Live (but I don't care for her new show "Cook With Me")

Chef at Home and Chef at Large (two different shows) with Michael Smith
