Anyone have some brioche experience? I'm going to start experimenting by

R300 Randi- here is a link to a photo and specs

The veggie "shooter" attachment looks big and clunky in the photo but it is incredibly easy to use and to clean. The "shooter" is for slicing, shredding, etc. It replaces the bowl/lid and you "shoot" into a large bowl. So fast for shredding everything- carrots, cheese, you name it. I have six of the "shooter" blades- but I usually come back to the ones that come with the machine. Mine came with a medium slicer and a medium shredder. It also had the steel blade and a bread "hook" blade.

I thought I would not like having a solid color (as opposed to clear) bowl but I was wrong. The lid is clear and that is plenty of viewing area.

The machine is not beautiful.....but neither is a Sherman Tank-LOL

a price to choke on but then, you're choking on your bread crumbs so...

maybe you better cough up the bucks '-)))

thanks Cathy. I don't know about the tank but it looks like something from Star Wars and....

would walk accross the counter and talk to me.... smileys/smile.gif

And I'd probably live longer too, with lowered blood pressure resulting from

not going "GRRRRRRRR" every time my machine clogs. I'm sold on the idea. Anyone wanna buy some zucchini?

Be careful when selecting a model. The motors are different, capacity is different, etc.

I believe the lower end models- that they say are "$1200 but now going for $750" might be made for the home cooks that want a better machine than what is available as residential models. This 10-cup model was not available when I got my RC- so check and make certain they are the highest-rated motor, etc. If this 10-cup model has the big motor, then woo-hoo! You just saved yourself a couple hundred bucks.

It might be like what John Deere did with riding lawn mowers when they made an entire JD line for Home Depot. They ARE John Deeres but the motors, etc are different. I know. I bought one.

Check with restaurant supply houses that sell used equipment. You might get lucky!

Me too, again. It was a simple Genoise. I made it twice. the same way, I guess because on both

occasions, it flopped.

How can you flop a Genoise? Gaston, how can I flop a Genoise????

Trust me, Cathy, I won't attempt a purchase without vetting it with you first. Sadly, it will be

December at the earliest.
