Anyone made Torrone?

I don't think this is as sensitive to humidity, but Marilyn could probably answer this.

It's usually quite dry up here.

 
Just saw this posting about peanut brittle...

I've made this recipe for years and never paid any attention to the humidity. I make my candies when I am ready and have the time.

One note: Missouri is cold in the winter so I have the furnace going which tends to dry the air. So, that could be why it doesn't seem to make any difference.
