Anyone out there have an affinity for Mulberry Jelly? I find we've made about 5 cases of the chit

and personally, I can't stand it. (There was this unfortunate Mulberry OD when I was a youth) Thoughts? Suggestons? Disposal ideas?

I know it's good for you - more of the stuff that's in red grapes, resveratrol, than is in

red grapes. I like the stuff myself, made several batches last summer.

Try recooking it and combining with strawberry jam/jelly - the taste of the strawberries overpowers the mulberries (to my dismay, but probably to your preference). Or give them to a local food bank? Presents to family and friends? Sell them at a holiday church bazaar (assuming they're canned).

Funny how that works; dh has is anti-dill because of the dill influence as a child.

So many hungarian recipes have fresh dill. (I think we are the only one's that make goulash or cucumber salad without dill)

I would love to try your mulberry jelly! I have never tasted it. I will reciprocate in kind. I went strawberry picking today. I see jammin in my near future!

Will send you a PM.

Best,

Barb

Let me see if I'm understanding this. Your solution to MY conundrum is I send YOU the jelly?

You guys are such givers. To think you'd sacrifice yourself for moi. Still, other than giving it away, I could REALLY use some applicable suggestions, otherwise, it's gonna end up being projectiles I launch at truculent drivers.

I'm just saying.

Well, you could have a party and make them the "take home" gift... save them for Christmas gifts

Anyone getting married soon? A case would make a nice wedding gift...heehee

Or graduation, birthday, anniversary, full-moon, summer solstice....

Mine is not to reason why, mine is to preserve and sigh. (The missus can't stand to see anything go

to waste. As long as she picks the suckers, my task is to make it edible. Usually I do pretty good but these little suckers have me stumped.

I think you should just set up a card table on the corner, make a sign, and sell them at $1 a pop!

Like a lemonade stand.... even better, bribe some cute kids in the neighborhood to do it - sells better.

I'll take that under advisement...then I'll try to figure out something that'll work. Might just

send it out to unsuspecting friends and family. That'll teach 'em!
