Anyone remember this rec from the 70s- Popcorn Salad

Now I'm really laughing, you got me! I used to watch Rachael regularly and she came on right before

so I saw the end of her show. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I'm pretty unobservative, though, someone else pointed out to me that she always matched everything.

I've seen that recipe somewhere, so it's real. I always thought those peanuts were the most

disgusting things, absolutely cannot imagine eating them in anything, let along something called a salad.

Which one are you talking about? LOL...

I swear, Food TV is rapidly leaving me behind. Their new "Food-o-tainment" direction is not one I am going to follow.

It used to be such a great place to learn something. I guess that's passé.

Have you noticed all the shameless product placement?

It's on all the shows. Whenever Giada adds ricotta cheese to something, she holds the Precious carton (the worst ricotta in the world IMHO) so the label faces the camera. Forget that she pronounces it "ree-goat" like a real Italian. Yuck!

Still, for some reason, I watch.
