As if iguanas eating my poor vegie garden is not enough, the monkeys are back!

And all I have to worry about are the bunnies.

Since there are a lot of coyote around and the bunnies love my herbs, we refer to them as self-marinating.

Racoons and possums here who take a big bite of a juicy red ripe tomato,

the same tomato I looked at the day before and thought...oh yeh, tomorrow that will be perfect for picking....they take a bite and then leave the rest. boohooo.

I call the remains "tomato carnage".(

Will someone please take my chipmunks? I used to think they were cute.

Since they undermined a 20 foot long fence, which collapsed, and eat all my greens, and make holes all over the lawn I don't think they're cute anymore. I just bought some chipmunk bombs. They look like sticks of dynamite.

I have squirrels and worms smileys/smile.gif I found out if you use the mesh bags from oranges, limes, etc.

and place those around the base of the plant or on the plant even, it helps keep animals with claws away...they don't like to get their claws in the mesh. So far it's worked for me in my container garden....no more problem with squirrels or cats

I've also been battling ooooooodles of grasshoppers.

At our last house we had a gopher that was tunnel happy

Hubby wanted to, um, eliminate him, but couldn't after I named the little guy Col. Hogan and started refering to hubby as Klink smileys/smile.gif

Marg, I'm sure with a little Hogan's Heroes thinking

We can find away to liberate them. We'll tempt Sgt Shultz, I mean Cyn, with a little streudel and sneak them out of camp, er, Cyn's yard and across the border.
