First baking I've done in a long, long time. I made them to take to the nursing staff in the treatment room tomorrow. It's my last chemo session, so I wanted to bring them some cookies to thank them for taking such good care of me.
I tried a couple of the cookies and they tasted really off to me; luckily my husband and son tried some, too, and said they tasted fine. I think it's the chocolate; I haven't been able to eat chocolate since about midway through the chemo. It just tastes really bad and leaves a bitter aftertaste in my mouth, especially milk chocolate. Really hope that clears up, although it would probably be better for my waistline if it didn't. smileys/smile.gif
