especially because this is a couple easily in their late 50's. Ah well...you're right. They could get a whole new kind of readership. LOL!!!!

Yep. I believe the term was made popular by soldiers in WWII,

although the dictionary gives 1856 as the term's source date.

My husband was surprised I knew this. smileys/wink.gif But I'm an editor/writer, and we often have odd little bits of information hanging out in our brains.
