The gold was edible gold leaf, The dark blue was brushed on disco dust so super glittery, and there were green candy beads that were highly reflective and shaped like disco balls that I found at a cake supply store in San Francisco one day. I finally found a good way to use them. So the cake really sparkled in the light.
