I had some leftover borscht, and decided to make jellied appetizers in small ramekins. I used half a sheet of gelatin, but it wasn't enough to firmly set the borscht. It won't hold its shape if it's turned out onto a plate.
Can I redo it, adding more gelatin? If so, am I adding to the original gelatin (does it re-set, or does it only work once)? Or should I use more, as though there was no gelatin to begin with?
