Can I frost cupcakes 2 days in advance of a party - will they remain fresh? Thank you!

More like one color oozed out with a bit of the other. Then the next attempt had a burp & a splotch

Then the next one didn't have any of the second color. I'd actually had such good success just by smearing the two colors in one bag that I was shocked when this method didn't work for me. Could be I just don't have enough practice applying the correct pressure with two bags. I only do stuff like this about once a year.

 
I had to make sure that the tips were equally wedged into the large bag (meaning

both tips met at the same point)

 
ohhhhh, you used TWO tips? I just use one big tip and lined up the two smaller bags inside.

That's how the video went that I watched a few years ago.

YOUR method sounds much more dependable.

 
I remember the two bags just put inside a larger one - no metal tips on them

Just the tip and coupler on the outside bag
