We had a work lunchoen on Monday and this was one of the desserts that I made. It got raves!

The icing brounght back childhood memories of the spice cake with brown sugar icing for dad's birthday every year. For me that was worth all the effort of the cake smileys/smile.gif So, thank you very much!

Another Thank You for this great cake!

Made it for my book group last night and everyone walked out with the recipe. The cider caramelized apples really add a lovely texture and flavor. Thanks for yet another winner Charlie!
