Cherry is home!!

She was in the repair shop for over a month and finally when I talked to the husband that does the repair he said it was OK for me to order the part from somewhere else. I got it the next day (ka oem part) without paying anything extra, brought it over and he fixed it while I waited.

I’m so thrilled she’s home and I can’t decide what I should make first! (She still seems huge next to my artisan 5qt ka.)

You gotta start with the famous Swiss buttercream, no? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly. Can't wait to see Cherry's inaugural baked good(s)

The Swiss meringue buttercream is definitely her test, but I don’t have anybody to bake a 3 layer cake for right now, so that’s gonna have to sit on the back burner for a bit. (My 5 qt ka could handle when I made a 1/2 batch.)

Also my freezer is full. I ordered a waygu tenderloin for the holidays, but they sent a waygu picanha and box full of other high end meat by mistake (yay, free meat). Normally, I keep an open shelf to cold carve cakes, but right not my freezer is full.
