Silly Question: are you using fresh-ground black pepper? Sometimes I find fresh-ground...

...is too strong, so I have to use a bit less.

Sure! I so happy that so many people have made these and liked them.

I just love them and so does anyone that I have ever served them to. Off to T and T.
Michael, I use just regular ground black pepper and it is fine.

I used store-bought ground pepper, just because it was easier... (more)

... and I did not think it would make much difference in this recipe, in fact I thought that my Tellicherry ones freshly ground could end up a bit too strong
