Thank you for your kind, generous words. I understand completely about family commitments. My MIL lived with us for 6 years and it was rough at times. There was one period where she was rushed to ICU 6 weekends in a row. Larry had a psuedo-heart-attack at weekend #4 and ended up a few doors down the hall from MIL. They gave her morphine to calm her down and instead, it made her hallucinate AND have super-human strength. This 4'11" 86-year old grandmother kicked me across the room.

That was a fun weekend.

As trivial as it sounds, you've got to do what you've got to do. Whenever things got really rough, I told my husband, "I never want to NOT be able to look myself in the mirror."

You're doing what your heart tells you. And while you may not have any free time, your soul is obviously in good shape.
