Despite the scary Christmas potluck there were some successes...

Made a Mediterranean Salsa w/ Pita Chips for the Euchre club that went over like gangbusters. They were scraping the bowl asking if there was more. I combined these 2 recipes which included Avocado, fresh Tomato, Feta, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Capers, Red Onion, Garlic, Olive Oil, Red Wine Vin and Dill:

Then there were the cookies I took to my work and DH took to his work potluck. The Cherry Nut Mudslides were pretty popular:

Traca's recipe from the Sugar Bakery in Seattle was yummy too. I cut into 1-2 bite pieces before dipping in the dark chocolate:

Mark & Joyce's Lemon cookies got good reviews too even though I think I over-creamed the butter/sugar and they weren't so crispy:

The Kahlua Crunch Cups were popular w/ the Chocolate Espresso lovers:

The Rustic Nut Bars Meryl helped me find were yummy as usual w/ a few tweaks:

The Paradise Macaroons Michael in Phoenix forwarded were a hit w/ the coconut lovers:

Gail's Raspberry Almond are still my favorite and apparently several others since they were the first to go. Only change is to use chopped slivered almonds instead of chunks:

Now it's treadmill time!

Hey Tess, I was just telling hubby the other night....

Out of all the cookies we have around the house for Christmas, the ones that I baked are the best - hee hee!

Sounds like yours are the best too! Sure wish we could have an FK cookie swap!

I would send you some Ina Garten shortbread sandwiched with our raspberry or rhubarb jam.
