Quick note...last night's event was a smashing success. It sold out in a flash and the crowd was amazing and engaging. I ended up partnering with the W Hotel and they were a dream to work with! We're already talking about the next event. smileys/smile.gif

And now, for a crazy page out of my uber sureal life. Today, I was invited to lunch at Sur La Table owner Renee Behnke's house. As you can imagine, her kitchen is to DIE FOR. And her TWO pantries stocked with multiple china paterns, glasswear and silver were dreamy. The onsite wine cellar has roughly 2,700 bottles of wine (will hold 3,000 when full) and they maintain 2 off site storage units for wine that needs aging. Um, yeah.

Even more impressive? Our guest of honor was Michel Escoffier, great grand son of Auguste Escoffier. He was completely charming, but a little disarmed by the fact that I brought my camera everywhere! smileys/smile.gif

Really, I don't know what Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole I fell into.....I'm waiting to discover this was all a magnificent dream.

a real big hug!!!! but we all know vitual works?

How exciting! Traca, last night on Top Chef Masters, they were using fish, I couldn't help thinking

MANY chefs from coast to coast would have loved to be at that event. Maybe you will end up having traveling shows or online videos events.

I feel like I just opened Gourmet magazine and read the editor's opening comments. I'm rather

speechless at the moment.

Did you genuflect?
