Do we have an updated TJ's favorites thread? So many things on old thread are gone now...

I miss the chunks of white chocolate. things I stuff into my suitcase:

pound plus bars
nuts, especially hazelnuts which are impossible to find up here
vitamins
Almondinas---crazy good with a cup of coffee or tea

now I must make room for cinnamon and German wine

I'm impressed that you all can actually buy things at TJ's. Here, you have to get a spot in line

practically as soon as you walk through the door--otherwise, you spend nearly as much time in line as you will shopping.

TJs tend to be in smaller locations, the largest one I've been in was about

1/3 the size of the supermarket where I usually shop.

They fit a lot of "stuff" into a small space.

I love! the Vegetable and Grain Country Salad, as well as

Harvest Wheat Bread

fluid dairy products

Cheeses

soy milk creamer

pizza dough and sauce (I also use the dough for quick flat bread)

nuts

salad dressings

prepared salads (great for a quick lunch or sharing for dinner)

Frozen Foods:
Indian Vegetable Masala Burger
peas
fire roasted corn
chicken tenders (great for quick meals as they cook quickly from frozen)
Chicken-less Mandarin Orange Morsels (like Asian Orange Chicken, w/out the chicken...and yes, it does taste like chicken) LOL
Wild Blue Shrimp
Potstickers
Egg Rolls

Their produce in general is great at the store I shop at the most. Their bagged salads are good, and a good price.

I don't like buying the packaged fruit or vegetables, though. I think someone else mentioned they tend to go bad quickly, and that has been my experience as well. The only packaged fruit I buy there are avocados.

They have GOT to be opening in the Orlando area! They just announced for Tampa.

Sarasota is opening next month and, of course, Naples is already opened.

Consumer Reports rated Trader Joe's California Estate olive oil excellent along with

McEvoy Ranch, another California brand that sells for $1.73 an ounce. TJ's is .35 an ounce, the same as Kirkland's Signature Select Toscano which was rated very good. I love that one, but haven't seen it in Costco stores for several months. I'm hoping it will be back Nov/Dec which is the date each year on the bottles.
