Does anyone have a recipe for a hummus that doesn't contain tahini?

I see you're not watching the Super Bowl! Aren't you from Pittsburgh?

Yes, above is the hummus recipe. Here is the falafel recipe. SOOO good

I made a double recipe of the dough early in the day, because it needs to sit, thinking it would be enough for the 14 guests coming. Then after the hummus the youngsters and I made another batch of falafel dough just to show them, which I planned to save for the next day. We barely rinsed the processor in between since the recipes are so similar.

We fried it all! I was wishing we had made several more batches, even though there was a double recipe of chicken souvlaki for the non-vegans. If it's made from freshly soaked chick-peas, and freshly fried, people eat it till it's gone.

I go a little crazy with the sage, and it even comes out a little green if you use fresh.

Nowadays hummus seems to be open to all sorts of interpretations. I like the spicy red pepper versions I see at Farmers Markets
