Does anyone have any suggestions for places to register for

wedding gifts? I am getting married at the end of the year and i am looking into registering at a few stores. We are interested in kitchen items (mixers, dishes, gadgets) , home items (decor,electronics),etc. Any suggestions are helpful. Not really on the recipe topic but I was hoping that the FK gang could help. TIA!

first of all congratulations! it's an exciting time in your life. the most popular places are macy's, williams-sonoma, crate and barrel, pottery barn, bed bath and beyond, target, depending on what you're looking for. when i got married (4 years ago) we registered at macy's, williams-sonoma, and crate and barrel. all of those places have great return policies. williams-sonoma and macy's (at least when i got married) even offer an additional discount after your wedding if you purchase the remaining items off your registry. hope that helps. happy planning!
