Does anyone know what happened to Randi from Oregon? I always enjoyed her sunny personality.

I so enjoyed her emails and PM's. She was so funny, and had the ability to...

...size up just about any situation in a concise and reasonable manner.

Many of you know she was a staunch defender of the old Swap from certain recurrent trolls and stood up for what is right, good and true every time. I had such respect for her!

Rest in Peace, Randi. I do miss you.

Michael

Randi and I were so close and her loss was such a shock. It's taken me a while,

but I'm finally at the point where I can read the posts in Richard's link and just smile. Such great memories.

The holidays are the perfect time to raise a toast to those who went before us and influenced our lives. Not to mention our cooking!

That sums her up. Her BS meter was the keenest I have ever encountered

but the harshest thing she would say when a silly flame war broke out was my favorite Randi-ism:

"Sometimes the collective intelligence is not worth collecting."

I never see a picture of a llama that I don't think of Randi. I hope she is smiling,

knowing how sweetly she is remembered.
