baking powder. The Cap T would be tablespoon, right? I use the T. and the t. rather than writing out the words but I notice this recipe uses both.
I made them last night to eat with a shrimp & corn chowder and they were terrific. But I had such a hard time keeping ahead of the baking powder. I thought my madeleines were going to be the size of puffy shoes, size 7. So I'm just wondering about the b.p.
This is a terrific idea for madeleine pans. Unfortunately, my pan is only an 8-banger so the rest of the batter became muffins. But the crispiness of the cornmeal in the melted butter is perfect for soup accompaniments.
Now I'm ready for the pumpkin version.
