it is with a heavy heart that I tell you that this morning she passed away.

I first met her @ Gail's - and even visited her in Florida and ran into her and her DH, unexpectedly, in Florence, Italy. She was a magnificent cook, as well as a constant source of help. And a true friend. She fought valiantly these last several years.

I'm so sad. She was always such a bright spot in my day on the board.

Moyn fought hard the last couple years and when I last spoke with her a month ago she was in pretty good spirits, all things considered. Loved her sense of humor, great ideas and recipe tweaks. A few of her recipes are part of my regular repertoire. She will be greatly missed.

I am saddened by this news. I wish to extend my sympathys to

all. I remember her from Gail's and in fact have copied many of her recipes. She will be sorely missed.

Deb-in-MI, This is such devastating news. Moyn was such a wonderful person and she fought

the valiant fight. I am so sad to hear this. On the days that she was up to it she would drop a note or forward something to acknowledge your love and support for her. I am just so sad. I pray for her daughter and husband. What a loss!

Deb, Thank you for letting us know.

my heart is just aching. as happy as I am that her struggle is finally over, ther are no words

to express how missed she will be by so many.

perhaps we can decide on a time tomorrow and we call all raise a glass to her in unison and send our love?

Dear Moyn, in your honor, I will "tweak" my next dish with 6 extra cloves of garlic. Dear Ted...

Thank you for sharing your funny, generous, garlic-loving, tweak-meister wife with us for all of these years.

She will be dearly missed.

Moyn will be greatly missed...

I also remember when we all started "chatting" way back when, more than 12 years ago or so...

All her great advice, in and out of the kitchen.

Very sad day.

Good idea, and lets all make one of Moyn's recipes during the next two weeks

and report back on what we made and served with it.
