For those of you who remember our dear Moyn

There was a lovely photo of Moyn and Teddy in the old site that Peg set up.

I tried the link but can't access it. Can anyone link it to this thread?

I am going to make up a 'book' of all these posts..

have them bound and send them to Teddy and Dana, her husband and daughter.

Any input/recommendations as to how to do this is appreciated.

Debra

I join everyone in sadness at the loss of dear Moyn.....

Of course I remember her from Gail's back when I first met everyone in 1998. It'll be time to join you all in less than an hour and I'll be with you -remembering this dear one.

That's a wonderful idea Deb. When my mother passed away

a few years ago one of her friends she met with every day for coffee at Tim Hortons made a beautiful little album with pictures of each person or couple in the group of "the regulars" -mostly other seniors, and a few "youngsters" who had met each other there and became a little group who visited every day over coffee. Each person wrote a little note in the book and the kind lady who put the book together brought it to the hospital for mom during her last days. That little album is a treasured keepsake now for us - knowing she had such caring friends was, and is, a great comfort. I'm sure Moyn's family will feel the same.

In making memorial books, it's important to use acid- free paper.

Otherwise, the paper will eventually disintegrate. Do you have a scrapbooking store in your community? I bet they'd have some ideas for you.

I didn't know Moyn...but this outpouring of comments is heartening. It makes me think we're all

like one big family here. smileys/smile.gif
