Plus we love the huge (restaurant sized) plum tomato cans Costco carries - don't have one on hand to check to see if it is also DOP but on my list.
I wasn't ecstatic about the 1st can of tomatoes I opened. I believe Muir Glen whole tomatoes are tastier. The 2nd can I cut thru tomatoes with scissors and poured over 5 or so fresh (winter) romas I bought at Aldi, cut in half and positioned cut-side down over finely chopped onion and minced garlic - then roasted. I pulled the skins off the romas after they were well cooked and rough cut the finished mixture apart with scissors. Added this to our regular spaghetti sauce instead of meat and wow, yummy! Colleen
