Freezer pickles

My sister used to make freezer pickles and they were absolutely irresistible. I have been trying to get to making them and finally did for our beach trip next week.

I just did the onions and cucumbers and I froze them after about 8 hours. Other recipes don't do that 3 day fridge thing so just gave this a try. They are needless to say not crispy--very limp and thin, But SO good.
I used English cukes--it took about 3 of them. I froze them in a plastic quart container and another about 24 oz. container. They'll go fast.

We are at the beach and pickles have thawed. They are delicious—sweet and sour and so thin they are translucent. Will be good on lots of things. Avocado toast, BLT with avacodo
