From O magazine: $40 Shopping Cart (I had a hard time believing this...)

Thanks Orchid for the link. We are in NJ, and unfortunately do not have most of the stores. LOVE

the idea. Will do a search to see if there is something similar for our stores.

Yes, she's in the Atlanta area. She's a prolific poster, easier to follow in a reader. She posts

the upcoming Publix ad on Monday. It doesn't start for me until Thursday, so it's really nice to know what's coming up. Also, she tells you what coupons are coming in the inserts in the Sunday paper. If you've ever bought something on Saturday and then see a big value coupon on Sunday, you know what I mean. Btw, Publix here takes Target coupons as a competitor. I guess it varies from area to area and store to store.

I've only had one problem with coupons at Publix and that was the buy $25 groceries and get $10 off $50 gas card. The checker called the grocery manager over and he said it had to be $25 after coupons. I felt that wasn't correct and sent an email to corporate through the Publix website inquiring about the official policy. Three days later, someone from the store where I'd shopped, called and apologized and said I could get a raincheck. Can't beat that kind of customer service.

T, it was in the hardcopy mag, not online. The article didn't give much

detail or provide any recipes for the ingredients she purchased, which I thought was a bit odd.

Four hints in the one-page article:
1. Go International for spices (spices are cheaper in ethnic aisle than in spice rack in baking aisle)
2. Look for in-season produce
Don't buy brussel sprouts for Easter.
3. Eat meatless or meat-free
4. Make your own
Make your own salad dressing; buy whole chickens, cut up for parts and stock.

I'll include it in the juicer package.

Sometimes when I need to buy something I go straight to the product

website. Many times I can get it right from them. Traca, I think you're on your way to start saving some serious money. :0)

I hope you can find something Barb. I feel certain there is. I'll look and

see if I can find something in that area also.
