Going to Jamaica in January.....I've never been there. Any food tips?

Awwww....glad you are enjoying them, Heather. Found some of your bay leaves yesterday

as I was searching though my pantry for a bottle of vanilla.

Reread your lovely note and stopped to think of what wonderful, wonderful friends we have here!
Thank you so much! I've used much of it and it was sooo good!

Mimi, is there any way to do a photo site so we could see the lovely faces of our friends?

Wouldn't that be fun?! smileys/smile.gif

Heather, is Natalie your daughter? smileys/smile.gif

Aww,,,,,,so sorry.

My mother-in-law moved in with us January of 1993. She had Alzheimer's and I was her caregiver. I am sooo glad I did it but I don't remember much else that happened that year.

No wonder. Thanks.

When I was a kid - during the time I saw him at UTA, we had a Phi Zappa Crappa poster in our 1/2 bath. ha

You've brought back a lot of memories. (that poster wasn't my idea but it WAS funny at the time!)

I have a baggie of those left too! >>>

and they'll have to last a while. I had to leave my boyfriend earlier in the year. I really miss Natalie - she is his daughter from another marriage but we email from time to time. Ah well, things happen for a reason, right? After I left him, I haven't been entertaining or cooking much but am trying to rebuild a social life and to cook for me!
