experience service that is worth knowing. So often and unfortunately, we report only the negatives. Actually, in customer service language, the numbers are 20 to 1: 20 clients will announce negative responses on service to the 1 who will announce positive. So that means that companies have to pedal like crazy just to stay above water with those vocal 20.

Anyway, here's my 1.

I wrote to Cole and Mason on Monday to tell them of a problem with my peppergrinder. Here it is, just Friday and I already have a replacement grinder! I didn't even realize that it had a lifetime warranty.

Can't beat that. (and I really missed my peppergrinder)

 
I once called Sears Home Service Dept. to offer congratulations on having done

a wonderful job with a reupholstery job. The very hesitant manager, was absolutely stunned and very pleased. You could hear her voice relax as the conversation continued.
