Got a wonderful compliment from my SIL tonight. I made a bunch more cookies, including...

...the Andes mint cookies and Almond Acorns. She loves them both. Those were coming out of the oven while the family contructed the Christmas Trees made from cookie stars.

She said that visiting her Dad's house when I'm baking is like walking into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! Everything's edible!

She's a great sis and the spark of our extended family. My boys ...

...love being around their aunt, and she lights up the house when she arrives.

She loves to eat and appreciates good food. You don't have to prepare fancy faire for her to really enjoy it. Like all of the rest of us, comfort food, served family style is preferred!
