I'm in Canada, and I didn't know what Peeps were before I joined to this list. (Ah, innocence lost.)
I didn't either. I went to Saudi in 1990 and found Gail's when we finally
got the internet around 1999. I remember the hub bub going on and I really had no clue what peeps were. Remember the game Scattergories? We would not do well with the 1990's edition. It was difficult to know what was going on in the "real world". LOL

Because of this I bought peeps yesterday, I'm hiding them in my room and will
set them out on the table after everyone's gone to bed tonight! Can't wait to see my parents' faces!
I plan to microwave one tomorrow at breakfast and film it for you all. muh hah haaaaa
