Maria, just saw this. That is so funny. Peeps have a rough life - don't they?
I happened to mention to my DH a few weeks ago that the FK and Eat@ recipe swap was so much calmer
and more friendly than some of the old Gail's and EPI exchanges where people would become irate and literally explode over some cooking issues.
Paul immediately perked up and said, "On a recipe swap you have irate contributers?! Why in the world can people erupt about recipes????" He frequents several political sites and told me that there are frequent squabbles and conflicts of opinions there which he expects, but he was astounded I've encountered the identical thing while discussing 'mere' recipes. I assured him that people are people and what some think is right is the ONLY WAY to cook and they will not give up until they think they have converted everyone else's cooking approaches.
