Grilling mushrooms

Reading my new CI about grilling mushrooms. They recommend par-cooking them by mixing a pound of mushrooms (at least 2" wide) in 1/2Cup of water in microwave for minute, stir and nuke again for about 2 minutes. Remove, cover and let rest for 5 minutes. Drain.

They mix with oil and put on a HOT grill for several minutes and then baste with a butter sauce. But they cook for a longer time than I would have thought. Interesting.

Not "hydrating" them. Cooking them in water in the microwave. I see I left out "in microwave". Added now. Sorry.
But the general idea is not to let them basicallly dry out by putting them directly on the grill. This way they brown on the grill.
