I would come right out and ask her for suggestions. You want to make her feel at home and welcomed,

so what better way to get to know each other is there than cooking together and even shopping together.

of course, I was working on the true meaning of "vegetarian"...

does she insist on her food cooked in a separate kitchen with separate utensils? if so, you oculd have a bit more trouble....
