They were scrumptious.  I would highly recommend.  It was very casual on the deck dinner with another couple.  I put out red and yellow pepper spears with a blue cheese dip (it was all I had).  Then the shrimp cakes with a red pepper aioli (suggested by Steve 2 in LA).  Added the Sriracha hot pepper sauce and it really finished it for the cakes.  Oh yes, I also added 2 thin japaleno rounds as a yummy garnish.  Also had an Asian inspired cold noodles with sesame ginger dressing (storebought, oh well, but it was good), peanuts, cilantro and scallions and a green salad.
It was a nice, light, bold flavored dinner. Thanks for the suggestions from Sandy in Philly and Steve 2 in LA!!!
