dinner. I LOVED it and I know she made it to please me. (I was such a nice little person way back then). She would never share the recipe. Never, no matter how one pleaded, even to me. The day I was leaving home, at the age of 23, she tucked the recipe into my hand. This is actually what she called it, Angel Pie, and the cirlcle is kinda complete now that I see where she got the recipe, way back then. That was the very early 50s. I have always been grateful for the recipe and have made it so many times, to guests who became very quiet as they enjoyed it as well. It is SO spectacular!
