Happy b'day Heather! What a pretty cake. My Weekend Six this week

included trying to keep cool. Syracuse picked August 15 and 16 to start summer. I still don't think we officially hit 90, but it's sooooooo humid and sticky.

Had Sundae cake (see post below) - a luscious slice of cake with ice cream "toppings". Gotta make one myself now.

Went out to dinner today and had Chicken Marsala at the restaurant that really missed the mark a couple of weeks ago. Today's was as good as I remember it used to being. Pretty little orange slices and sprinklings of parsley all around the plate. Thumbs up today!

Didn't cook all weekend... we saw Chuck Woolery's game show marathon last night. Kinda good. 'Didn't win the car ;o) lol - I wish.

Tomatoes are still green. Getting bigger, but green as anything.

Cantelopes were $1.25 at Wal-mart the other day. I love fresh melon.

-Heather, my favorite low-cal meal is broiled fish - prepared any way, but my favorit is with lemon juice, sherry, and pepper. Yum. Second to that I guess it would be roast turkey with fresh cranberry relish.

I guess having a pizza party tomorrow night is my last gasp before the hula hooping slimming program begins in earnest. But what fun it's been!!! My bday was last Wednesday, wish it was the same as Julia's! I have yet to see the movie though. Maybe next weekend!!!
