has anyone heard from Richard? the last time he was here he was shoveling

I love Goodwill! LOL

There is a huge big store, more like the central warehouse, around the corner from my office. Actually, I can see it from my window. I stop in every week, usually come out empty handed, but every once in awhile the treasures you can find. Last week I really hit the jackpot with the pink depression plates in Columbus (which are selling for around $10 bucks a piece in the antiques stores) and in Cincinnati I found a FABULOUS old antique sideboard on eagle claw and ball feet, with inlaid woods and the works, for $295!!!!!!!!!

Also found some amazing 19th C. pressed glass relish trays for a $1!

Oh yeah. And I want to find the Macrina bakery on First. But flowers from the market on day 1 is a

must, as well as the other goodies. I have plastic collapsable vases that I can pack to use in the hotel room.

Me too, Richard, I love thrift stores. Have been finding lots of pink depression glass

lately. My sister got me hooked on it...beautiful stuff.

Yeah, I've been collecting it for years because

I had a few pieces from my great-grandmother. I now have a large cabinet filled with it.
