Has anyone tried this product Fasta Pasta The Microwave Cooker?

I've tended to stay away from using plastics in the nuker. The only one I can't resist is an old

Tupperware product to steam vegetables.

I wonder if you can just use any microwaveable dish?

A friend showed me her Healthy Choice pasta dish (see attached link). It had a microwaveable bottom container with a single serving of dried pasta (small shapes). The top container had a pasta sauce.

To eat, you added water to the bottom container, and nuked it for a few minutes to cook the pasta. Drain the water. Then uncover and nuke the sauce portion, and pour it over the cooked pasta.

I figured you could do it with any container, so I've been putting a small amount of pasta (mini penne) in a pyrex measuring cup. The cup has to be pretty big, since the water boils and foams in the micro. Easy way to have pesto pasta at lunch!

Good idea. Let's someone try this. I often have leftovers for a pasta lunch but H won't cook his

own pasta. Gotta make it easy for him.
