Have green bell peppers lost their taste? For years now, I haven't been able to find

I cut some green peppers into 1/2" pieces for a stirfry this week and they peppers were so thick,

some of the pieces were almost cubes. I don't think they were the most flavorful I've had. However, I like thick red peppers.

You may have to remind me - I get pretty busy in the summer...but...

I'll try and remember. Last year our garden didn't do very well - short growing season because of all the rain.

I've ordered a bunch of heirloom seeds but I'm sure we'll get some plants, also. I'm hoping to expand our garden this summer and hit the Farmer's Market on Saturdays if it produces an abundance.

(Well, and can as much as I am able, also!)

I'd be happy to send you a box!

Gayle, Thanks so much-I made a note to remind you at the beginning of July. Needless to say, I will

reimburse you for the shipping. Thanks again - you're a doll!

We'll see how they turn out - thin walled vs thick walled LOL

But hopefully, either way they'll be tasty! smileys/smile.gif

You're quite welcome, dearie! smileys/smile.gif

I just want to have a pungent tasting pepper like I used to have many many moons ago.Today

they're all bland! Looking forward to trying yours - hope you yield a great crop!

I used to long for good ole Missouri tomatoes - when I lived elsewhere -

and when I moved back, I was not disappointed! But the last few years I've been somewhat disappointed with some of the ones we've grown. I love that old fashioned tomato bite! So many of them are sweet these days.

Some of the heirloom variaties are pretty good.

We'll see how they turn out. smileys/smile.gif
