Hello from new "inductee"!

I just discovered this forum and love it. I have already saved 2 recipes(mushroom lasagna and cranberry caramel tartlets) and that is just from the 1st page! I agreed with the blog about that featured the cranberry tarts--I have the hardest time with pastry and really like cakes, but can't resist anything with cranberries. I have better luck with pastry doughs that are pressed in instead of rolled out. I am sure I will find many more recipes as I look back through the threads--I hope I have plenty of ink in the printer!

Well, maybe I will have to give it a try!

I have tried lots of tricks, from keeping the dough cold by putting back in refrig if needed to using a cold marble rolling pin and cold surface. My rolling pins are deep in a drawer under pans and tins of all kinds!
