Here is a link to a site with an extra deep 9" springform pan - it is 3.75".

You can also make a parchment collar for your pan, if you don't want to buy another pan.

You're very welcome - it was interesting to see all of the pan styles available.

I recently did a pan purge, and found I had about 10 different springform pans of various quality - but they all had the same height of collar. I don't use them frequently, and haven't made a cheesecake in quite a while, but will be making one soon, maybe for NYE because of this thread.
