help! need finger food ideas - something served at room temp, without realy exotic ingredients.

me forever to reformat it. Here it is in a more readable format:

GREEK SALAD BITES

1 cup crumbled feta cheese (4 ounces)
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbs oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp cracked black pepper
1½ medium English cucumbers
¼ cup finely shredded fresh basil
¼ cup chopped Kalamata olives

1. In a small bowl, stir together feta, sour cream, parsley, tomatoes, garlic, and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours (or overnight).

2. Slice cucumbers on a slight diagonal into ¼-inch slices. Spoon 1½ tsp. of the cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice. Arrange on serving platter.

3. In a small bowl, stir together basil and olives. Spoon some of the mixture over each cucumber slice. Serve immediately.

Yield: 20 to 30 appetizers

Sundried Tomato/Pesto/Cream Cheese Torta...I served this for a party last Christmas, it was very

pretty and everyone loved it. Be careful if you double the recipe, be sure to double the bread pieces, broccoli, etc. to 'dip'....it can also be sliced, so be sure and havhe a knife for cutting

Sundried Tomato/Pesto/Cream Cheese Torta


2 blocks (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
1 T. minced garlic
2 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes

1/4 cup pesto
1/2 cup sundried tomato in oil, chopped

Take small container, lay down saran so it
overhangs the container.

Mix cream cheese, garlic, oregano and pepper
flakes in mixer until well blended.

Layer 1/3 of the cream cheese mixture on the
bottom of the container.
Top with pesto.
Top with 1/3 cream cheese mixture.
Top with chopped tomato
Top with 1/3 cream cheese mixture.
Arrange a few pieces of tomato on top.
Cover with saran.

Should be refrigerated at least 12-24 hours
before serving. Can be made 48 hours ahead.
Serve with crackers; I prefer bread rounds or broccoli
