Hey y'all. I need your helping finding some upscale Southern-style hors d'ouerve recipes.

Its a mixturre of apple jelly, horseradish, black pepper, dry mustard and

pineapple
(or pineapple apricot) preserves Keeps forever and you pour it over a block of cream cheese- there are a zillion recipes for it in the South... If you need one, I'll post my Mom's....

My Mom's Jezebel

1 16 oz jar Apple Jelly
1 16 oz jar Pineapple Preserves (or Apricot/Pineapple if you can't find it)
1 small can Dry Mustard- she uses Colemans
1 5oz jar Horseradish
2 Tblsp Ground Black Pepper

Mix all together- sometimes she would sort of heat the jellies, but you don't need to- Needs to sit for a few hourss at least- Serve over block of cream cheese, or cream cheese covered with dried chipped beef- Also great as ham sauce nd on grilled cheese sandwiches- It's weird, but really good!

Hope you all try it!
