hi everyone, have any of you cooked for someone with ulcers?

what his system tolerates the best, right now, is raw goat's milk. goat's milk is much different

from cow's milk and those who can't have cow's milk do fine with goat. it's also very good for the body.

not to mention, when I picked some up last week I got dry off a new born and give her first feeding. I totally blissed out! baby goats are just the sweetest things and they try to climb all over you like puppies. can't wait to get back to the farm this week smileys/smile.gif

Dawn_MO, I think mint just has that "abrasive" characteristic about

it that might provoke some stomach acid in response to the harshness/bitiness, but I'm just guessing.

Yes, I've used chamomile tea to soothe an upset stomach, and I would think as long as Randi's DH stays away from caffeinated teas, herbal teas (except mint) would be okay.

My finger's healing fine... stitches are out and it is just sore now. Doctor says to rub it to avoid scar tissue build-up. But ouch, still hurts where I have feeling. The rest of the feeling should return within 6 months, she says. Says I nicked a nerve. 'Feels like parts of my finger, back and front, have sandpaper wrapped around it!
