Hope this is not too off-topic: loose tea. What you like, and where you get it.

Thanks, Elaine--I'm not sure if Kalustyan's carries loose tea, but I can always call them.

Or we can trek over there with Sandra on your next visit! smileys/smile.gif

Thanks for this, Richard--the Upton tea place does have some good fruit tisanes.

I'm probably using the term incorrectly--their orange and raspberry ones are imported from Germany, so it's all fruit. Excellent stuff. smileys/smile.gif Going to dive into the sites you mentioned--thank you!

I also do milk and sugar in morning tea. smileys/smile.gif

Unfortunately, it seems like any coffee before noon makes me a complete jerk. smileys/frown.gif We used to buy beans from Whole Foods, and grind them at home--fancy or not, it just seems like it's too much caffeine. (Non-morning people should just not have kids, I'm starting to think.) smileys/wink.gif

See Mistral, you have reinforced my point! I am not at all a tea aficionado. I can't tell box

to box. I can tell, and dh can also, when I switch brands. I make tea every day, and every once in a while I switch brands; either they stop selling PG tips or something just grabs my attention and is on sale at the store. Dh immediately notices. Not necessarily in a bad way, but he'll ask what is different..... Makes me laugh, cause I don't think he would notice if I changed the brand of toothpaste!!

I really love the teas from SerendipiTea-organic, local to you

loads of great choices--I think they are on Long Island.
Served at Blue Hill.
The chocolate is really good. The Mademoiselle Gray is really nice, with rose petals--just a whiff/hint of rose. So good! Reasonabley priced, eco friendly and responsible.

Super fast shipping too.

For a pricier option, the Kusmi teas are excellent. Amazon/from France

Yep...favorite was PG Tips for a long while, then we started on a London decaf tea.

I brought back loads of it, but tossed the boxes so I could compress the bags in my suitcase. Now I have no idea what it was. Got it at the local grocery store when we realized Larry's BP was shooting up because of all the regular tea we were drinking.

I agree - Teaberry's is very good. Practically down the street from me smileys/smile.gif

Murchies in Canada... and Adagio (Online)

I've bought from Murchies for 11 years now... love them
No. 22
English Breakfast
English Afternoon
Christmas Tea
Pink Lemonade Tea (Herbal and only available in the summer)
Library
Golden Jublilee
ahhhh

Adagio is new to me since last year. Was looking for a replacement for SpecialTeas - which was bought out by Teavana and shut down.... I miss them. Teavana is OK - when I'm at the mall and need a cup of tea. And now Starbucks bought them.... sigh...
