this is probably too simple and it's not Asian, but it is traditional European and impressive. We broil Portuguese or Spanish chourico on a special earthenware dish with alcohol. It is amazingly tasty and fire is always exciting. See the link - scroll down to the video. I'm not sure why they 'cook' it twice in the video, once is usually ample - maybe we are just more lavish with the vodka in the first place!
