I am going to give hot food a chance this Wednesday. I decided to make grilled cheese

Sorry Dawn, no recipe. I buy it online

from
skilletbaconjam.com
It's a place in Seattle that made it to serve on their burgers, etc.
Here's the list of ingredients, maybe you could play around and come up with something close!
Bacon, onions, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper.

I always make grilled cheese sandwiches with Gruyere,Swiss cheese which melts beautifully.

It might be a bit expensive, though.

You were right Michelle, they are selling really well.

I am going to bring double the amount next week. It's nice because they are a big ticket item to sell. And since I make everything from scratch, inexpensive to make.
I am not excited about how the grilled cheese is going though. Too labor intensive for one person and it is cutting into my sampling time for my other products. I may wait until it cools off and then go with my soups. They were easy and did really well in the cooler months.

I just had an idea about soups: is there a pottery booth that might sell big mugs or soup bowls?

maybe work with them to provide a coupon for a serving of soup or some kind of promotion like that.

I wish there was a pottery booth, but there is none.

There used to be an Amish basket booth, but they aren't there anymore. I bough a couple lovely baskets from then. I am going to start getting some produce from the farmers to make my soups and will promote them. I want to sell soup so bad! But it was 95 degrees here today. I am so glad I didn't have a market today. Thanks for the idea, Ang.
