I FOUND YOU ALL!

Of course we remember you!!! Every once in awhile we put a shout out to those

we haven't seen in awhile. So glad you're back on!!!

Catching up...

I tried to find the last time I was on and it looks like in July 2009. I toyed with the idea of reading all the posts since but I don't know if I could manage that. My last post was on page 105 or thereabouts. That's A Lot !

Luisa, I really like the Kaffir limes...

I've only ever made limeade out of them. They're really tart, so they need a lot of sweetening, but the taste is very "exotic." Great in cocktails too. I chopped my tree back last fall so I probably won't be getting any limes this year though smileys/frown.gif

Kaffir Lime fruit

Mine is in a container so that's probably why it doesn't keep the fruit. If they mature without dropping off, I may try the limeade.
Thanks.

Hi! Thanks again for pointing me to Ravelry. It sure took up the void left by me not

being able to register here for 5 years!
BTW I've been looking at old post and I saw yours on the Biscotti baking. The spumoni one looks awesome.

I love Ravelry, with the food allergies I have sometimes knitting has replaced my joy of cooking!

Glad you liked that biscotti post, that was a fun day. The almond ones were my favorite at that time, although I can't eat almonds anymore, oh well! Maybe I should try tinkering the recipe using an egg replacer and walnuts instead! I miss cookies.

Glad you are back here!

I still pull out my little baggie of frozen kaffir leaves every now and then. Thanks, Luisa.

Hope retirement is treating you well.
